ello, my name is Shaun Kirk, and here is a little bit about myself:

     I own a physical therapy practice in Cincinnati, Ohio. Although I have a very good reputation as a physical therapist, I was a miserable manager.

     In 1994 I just happened to answer the phone and a gentleman starting asking me questions about how well my practice was doing. At that time I had 3 employees with two of them family and I was barely making it and was extremely unhappy. He suggested that I come to a weekend seminar where L. Ron Hubbard's Administrative Technology was presented. I went and almost immediately my conditions in life started to change.

     When I met with my management consultant she asked me a very important question: "Why aren't you successful in private practice?" I gave her the typical answers such as: There are 23 physical therapy practices in a three mile raduis, managed healthcare is impossible to work with, I am too young to become successful, etc. My consultant then asked, "What do you really want?" I told her that all I really want is to be happy. My wife was with me and that was all that she wanted to see for me as well.

     My consultant then uttered the most powerful words that I had ever heard up to that time which were: "Your success or your failure in your life or in your business is your own doing and the the sooner you come to realize that you are on your way out of it."

     I was stunned and all ears. She then said, "What if you were happy AND successful in private practice?" I told her that that would be much more than I could ever expect.

     I applied everything that I was taught and my practice BOOMED! We 5Xed our production in as little as 9 months and our staff grew from 3 to 18 in the years that followed.

     So now, I am successful but what about happiness. My consultant had myself and my wife take a simple 200 question test that identified various strengths and weaknesses and went over the test with us. We were amazed at how precise the test was at evaluating our strengths and unfortunately, our weaknesses. After going over this test we were intrigued. We had to know more.

     We then were introduced to Scientology. Our lives have forever changed. The sanity and happiness that being connected to this group has given us can not be measured.

     Growing up we have those voices, you know the voices, the ones that tell you that you're not bright enough to become successful or it takes money to make money or if it looks too good to be true it is. I had all of those little voices working overtime with me. It was Scientology that made me realize and fully understand the true meaning of that statement my management consultant floored me with several years ago. I WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR MY SUCCESSES AND MY FAILURES IN LIFE AND I COULD NO LONGER BLAME IT ON ANOTHER.

     Applying the management technology was a walk in the park with the above understanding.

     Our income since becoming Scientologists and using L. Ron Hubbard's Administrative Technology has increased by nearly 6 fold but it was really Scientology that enabled me to become truly successful.

     I have since sold my practice, and due in large part to understanding of my own abilities, realized that I can do many things. I have decided to try new things and attempt to help others who may be having difficulty reaching their full potential because of those darn voices.
